It's the final weekend for what I would call the calm before the storm. With the Amazon Black Friday 2025 sale in Australia starting on Tuesday, the floodgates will open next week for all other retailers and official Black Friday deals will kick off.

If you'd like to beat the rush, you absolutely can because there are already some excellent discounts that are worth taking a look at right now. I've been scouring the interwebs with my team since the start of November to see where these hidden gems lie and highlighting some of the best early Black Friday deals right here.

From the best ereaders to the best TVs, from the best mirrorless cameras to the best smartphones in Australia, the best cordless stick vacuums or the best laptops, and everything else in between – if the tech is worth buying at a certain price, you'll find it here.

Black Friday 2025 in Australia: Top retailers

Best early Black Friday 2025 deals

Smartphones & accessories

Google Pixel 9a (128GB, Obsidian)
Save 30% (AU$250)
Google Pixel 9a (128GB, Obsidian): was AU$847 now AU$597 at JB Hi-Fi

The Google Pixel 9a is still a respectable entry level-premium option with a great camera and long-term support. Our reviewer found its camera provides some of the best macro photography capabilities anywhere, and that it boasts the same Tensor G4 chip found in the more expensive Pixel 9 models. It’s worth noting that while there will likely be a Pixel 10a sometime in the first quarter of 2026, at just under AU$600, I reckon the Pixel 9a is good value.

Apple iPhone 16e (128GB, Black)
Save 10% (AU$102)
Apple iPhone 16e (128GB, Black): was AU$999 now AU$897 at Amazon

Considering this is an Apple product, I really can't say if this discount will get any better later this month. But if you’re on a budget and you absolutely have to have an iPhone, it’s hard to beat the iPhone 16e at this price. Sitting somewhere between the previous iPhone SE and its flagship iPhone 16 sibling, this 2025 release offers the Apple experience with a few less bells and whistles in exchange for a reduced price tag. Its smaller form factor (6.1-inch screen size) may also be appealing to fans of the iPhone minis of yore.

Samsung Galaxy S25
Save 29% (AU$407)
Samsung Galaxy S25: was AU$1,399 now AU$992 at Amazon

It might be the base model in Samsung's latest flagship range, but in our Samsung Galaxy S25 review, my colleague applauded it for its battery life and premium design. There was a AU$420 discount just days ago, but this is still a good bargain on the 256GB variant, bringing it the realm of the best mid-range phones.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 (1TB)
Save 15% (AU$533)
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 (1TB): was AU$3,549 now AU$3,016 at Amazon

Yes, this is still an expensive smartphone at over AU$3k after discount, but the Z Fold 7 is more than just a phone. It's gorgeous 8-inch internal tablet-display, thin frame and superb cameras make it a multitude of devices in one. 256GB and 512GB models also get discounts, with prices starting at AU$2,464.

Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 (1 pack)
Save 42% (AU$23.01)
Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 (1 pack): was AU$55 now AU$31.99 at Amazon

Samsung's alternative to Apple's AirTag was redesigned in 2023 and has been reasonably well received, making it a good Bluetooth tracker for non-Apple users. It'll let you keep tabs on the location of whatever you attach it to and, critically, it works with Android. It costs a little more than a single AirTag at full price, but this discount makes it easy to recommend.

<p>Want a few of these? The <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8428&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.com.au%2Fdp%2FB0CK42LW4C%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-22%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-22">4-pack is down to AU$90.88, which means a single SmartTag is just AU$22.72.
Apple AirTag (4-pack)
Save 16% (AU$26)
Apple AirTag (4-pack): was AU$165 now AU$139 at Mwave

If you've been looking for a set of tracking tags perfect for the Apple ecosystem, AirTags are your best bet, and although this 16% discount isn't much, it's about the usual offer we've typically seen on Apple's Bluetooth tracker set. This means each tracker is just AU$34.75 and a lot cheaper than just buying a single unit.

DJI Osmo Mobile 6
Save 25% (AU$51)
DJI Osmo Mobile 6: was AU$204 now AU$153 at Amazon

I'm expecting this smartphone gimbal to drop in price as it was AU$80 off this time last year, but I think this is still a good price for the DJI OM 6. Its ergonomics and app are great, plus it'll be a thoughtful Christmas gift for someone who loves taking videos and photos on their phone.

Tablets & ereaders

Apple iPad mini (A17 Pro, Wi-Fi, 128GB)
Save 6% (AU$50)
Apple iPad mini (A17 Pro, Wi-Fi, 128GB): was AU$799 now AU$749 at Amazon

Admittedly not a big discount at all, but any saving on an iPad is, I think, worth considering. This compact iPad has a slightly more powerful chip under the hood than the entry-level iPad, but right now only the Space Grey variant of the 128GB Wi-Fi edition is AU$50 off. The other colour options are AU$10 more With Apple Pencil and Smart Folio support, this 8.3-inch slate is not just portable, but would be a handy device to have if you're working on the go.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9
Save AU$450.45
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9: was AU$1,299 now AU$848.55 at Amazon

I'm expecting this price to drop next week as it was AU$579 during October's Prime Day sale on Amazon, but this is still a worthwhile saving. It comes with the S Pen, which makes it suitable for artists and notetakers, adding value to what is still quite a powerful slate. Plus, Samsung has guaranteed security updates for the Galaxy Tab S9 until 2028, so it still has a few years of life left in it.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE (128GB)
Save 20% (AU$174)
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE (128GB): was AU$849 now AU$675 at Amazon

Note that this offer on Amazon is from a third-party reseller on the 128GB variant of Samsung's 'budget' tablet, and I do expect the price on this model to drop further, possibly at other authorised retailers. It's still a deal worth highlighting because we love the DeX mode for excellent desktop-style browsing, and the inclusion of an S Pen for note-taking and drawing is a game changer.

Audio

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4
Save 42% (AU$210.95)
Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4: was AU$499.95 now AU$289 at Sennheiser

We're big fans of the over-ear headphones version of the Momentum 4, but that's not to say the buds are bad – far from it. Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, plus higher-resolution codec support go a long way in making these worth every cent. You're also getting a healthy dust ingress protection rating. The sound here is excellent and if call quality is important, the 'AI-improved voice pickup and call virtualisation' using the six mics in total will be a welcome addition.

CMF Headphone Pro
Save 26% (AU$37.77)
CMF Headphone Pro: was AU$142.79 now AU$105.02 at Amazon

For a set of budget headphones (they cost AU$179 RRP), these are surprisingly good. In fact, they scored 4.5 stars in our CMF Headphone Pro review, with our tester saying they sound "zealous" and have a "bass-hungry sound quality". Trust me, that's superlative terms for saying these are good. At this price, they're hard to beat. Note: this offer is from Amazon UK and will likely change – the dark grey colourway is cheapest, but the light green (pictured) is just a few dollars more via the same listing.

Sony WH-1000XM4
Save 41% (AU$179)
Sony WH-1000XM4: was AU$439.95 now AU$260.95 at Sony Australia

Despite having first launched in 2020, we still think the Sony XM4s offer the best bang for your buck of any pair of over ear headphones available today. They deliver excellent sound, effective noise cancellation, heaps of useful features and they even fold away for easy travelling. At this price, they’re a 100% certified Black Friday bargain. To get the deal price listed, sign up for a My Sony account (10% off) and enter code HOLIDAYSAVE (AU$40 off).

JBL Flip 7 Bluetooth speaker
Use coupon code
Save 20% (AU$35.99)
JBL Flip 7 Bluetooth speaker: was AU$179.95 now AU$143.96 at JBL Australia

This relatively new Bluetooth speaker has been discounted to AU$157 before, making this deal an even better all-time low price. We gave the JBL Flip 7 a full five stars in our review and noted that the sound is a lot punchier than the previous model, plus it gets a bigger battery that lasts up to 16 hours. To get the discounted price, you need to generate a unique TechRadar JBL coupon code and apply it in the checkout.

Beats Pill
Save 28% (AU$70)
Beats Pill: was AU$249 now AU$179 at JB Hi-Fi

The Beats Pill is a sturdy, classy portable speaker that you can use anywhere from the living room to the poolside, thanks to its IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating. It also has a substantial 24-hour battery life, so you can listen for a long time without worrying about recharging. Importantly, it's AU$20 cheaper than it's previous low price earlier this year and available in all colour options from JB Hi-Fi.

JBL Charge 6 Bluetooth speaker
Use coupon code
Save 20% (AU$45.99)
JBL Charge 6 Bluetooth speaker: was AU$229.95 now AU$183.96 at JBL Australia

We gave this new speaker 5 stars in our JBL Charge 6 review and said that if you want big, high-quality sound for a great price, it's unbeatable. We haven't seen much in the way of discounts yet for the Charge 6 and this price is equal to the lowest it dropped during Prime Day last month. To get the deal price, you need to generate a unique TechRadar JBL coupon code and apply it in the checkout.

TVs, soundbars & streaming devices

LG QNED81 (65-inch)
Save 32% (AU$615)
LG QNED81 (65-inch): was AU$1,895 now AU$1,280 at Appliance Central

This QNED TV doesn't get the 'Evo' tech that was added to other LG Mini LED panels, but it does get a new processor to help it maintain greater control over colour reproduction. It's a cost-effective route into the world of LG, that's for sure.

LG QNED93A (65-inch)
Save 28% (AU$779)
LG QNED93A (65-inch): was AU$2,799 now AU$2,020 at Appliances Online

LG's QNED range uses Mini LED panels and, in 2025, it bestowed its brightness-boosting 'Evo' technology on a couple of model ranges, including this QNED93. We've not reviewed it just yet (you can read what our colleagues at What Hi-Fi? thought of it in their 4-star review), but a colleague has seen it in person and found it to be exceptionally bright and capable of delivering vibrant, punchy colours.

LG B5 OLED TV (65-inch)
Save 27% (AU$719)
LG B5 OLED TV (65-inch): was AU$2,699 now AU$1,980 at Appliance Central

The B5 is LG's entry-level model, but don't think it's not a capable performer, as it's still an excellent screen. And, in this 65-inch guise, coupled with its wealth of gaming support, it makes for a fantastic addition to a smaller room or as a gaming TV. Read our full LG B5 review for a full rundown on its capabilities.

Samsung S85F (65-inch)
Save 31% (AU$1,027)
Samsung S85F (65-inch): was AU$3,299 now AU$2,272 at Appliances Online

The S85F is Samsung's entry-level OLED for 2025, but given its high level of performance, you'd be forgiven for thinking it sat higher up in the range. It serves up deep blacks, strong contrast and vibrant colours, everything you could want from an OLED TV, really. Right now though, given the small premium for the S90F (see below), that would still be our pick, but the S85F is a fine alternative if you want to save as much as possible. Read our full Samsung S85F review for the full story.

Samsung S90F (65-inch)
Save 14% (AU$560)
Samsung S90F (65-inch): was AU$3,880 now AU$3,320 at Appliance Central

The S90F is the step-down model from the S95F, but in terms of overall performance, there's not a whole lot in it. So, if your budget can't quite stretch to the flagship, you won't be disappointed with this model. Plus, you can get in a larger size for less. You get an Anti-Glare screen, sumptuous colours and a gorgeous, slim design.

LG C5 (65-inch)
Save 14% (AU$615)
LG C5 (65-inch): was AU$4,295 now AU$3,680 at Appliance Central

First off, the list price at Appliance Central is already a discounted amount – the 65-inch C5 retails for AU$4,295. Secondly, this has gone much lower in price in recent months, but if you missed out then, this is still a good discount for what is one of the finest screens to be released in 2025. The C5 continues where the company's excellent C4 left off, serving up superb colours, brightness and contrast, resulting in a TV that's perfect for most homes. It's a good-looking TV and has a wealth of gaming features.

LG S95TR
Save 24% (AU$400)
LG S95TR: was AU$1,699 now AU$1,299 at Appliance Central

A decent saving here on LG's 9.1.5-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar, making it a deal you really should pay attention to. It's a genuinely great and immersive soundbar. The wireless subwoofer delivers thunderous bass, while the soundbar and rear speakers work in unison to deliver effective and authentic Dolby Atmos soundtracks.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K
Save AU$40
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K: was AU$99 now AU$59 at Amazon

This upgraded model of the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K is one of the best-value streaming sticks, especially for Amazon customers who appreciate Alexa. It supports 4K ultra HD resolution, Dolby Vision, HDR10 Plus and Dolby Atmos audio – plus cloud gaming via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Use it to access popular streaming subscriptions like Netflix, Disney Plus, Paramount Plus and more. This is a decent price, though I have seen it down to AU$49 previously.

Lenovo ThinkBook G8 14-inch | Core 7 240H / 32GB / 512GB SSD
Save 16% (AU$250)
Lenovo ThinkBook G8 14-inch | Core 7 240H / 32GB / 512GB SSD: was AU$1,549 now AU$1,299 at Amazon

This is a cracker of a deal, considering the ThinkBook G8 was AU$1,749 not long ago. Especially since you get the powerful new Series 2 Intel Core 7 240H CPU, 32GB of RAM and a fast NVMe 512GB SSD. The only downside is the display, with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and 45% NTSC colour. But if you are connecting it to an external display (or three) via HDMI or Thunderbolt 4, then you won't care.

That's not bad for this powerful laptop – especially since it has a 2560x1600 display, plus extras like Thunderbolt 4 USB-C and Wi-Fi 7.

Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 16-inch | Ultra 7 / 32GB / 1TB SSD

The 16-inch (2880 x 1800) 120Hz OLED touchscreen display folds back through 360 degrees and works with the Lenovo pen for writing and drawing. You also get extras like an IR facial recognition webcam, dual Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports and a decently large 70Wh battery. That's a lot of laptop for the money!

Dell XPS 13 laptop | Snapdragon X Elite / 32GB RAM / 1TB SSD: was AU$2,597.11 now AU$1,651.74 at Dell

While the AU$3,798 launch RRP wasn't too appealing, the XPS 13 has gotten cheaper over time and recently dropped to AU$1,899.70. Then you can take an extra 13% off using the code FUTURE13% and score a great price for this premium Snapdragon X Elite 32GB RAM laptop with a 2880 x 1800 OLED touchscreen.

Alienware 16 Aurora gaming laptop | Core 7 / RTX 5060 / 16GB / 1TB
Save 33% (AU$859.47)
Alienware 16 Aurora gaming laptop | Core 7 / RTX 5060 / 16GB / 1TB: was AU$2,599.30 now AU$1,739.83 at Dell

This gaming laptop launched back in early June and has been AU$2,599.6 until recently, but has now dropped to AU$1,999.80. You can now also get an extra 13% off using the code FUTURE13% – bringing the price down to the lowest we have seen. This model only has a TGP of 80W, so it's slower than a 115W TGP RTX 5060, but it's still a reasonable deal for the specs if you want a more efficient but gaming capable machine with a big 16-inch, 2560 x 1600 120Hz display.

Vacuums

Shark Cordless Vacuum with Self Cleaning Brushroll (IZ102)
Lowest price
Save 60% (AU$332)
Shark Cordless Vacuum with Self Cleaning Brushroll (IZ102): was AU$549 now AU$217 at Amazon

This popular budget vacuum cleaner is always a bestseller when discounted and this is its lowest price yet. We haven't tested it ourselves but user reviews are glowing. For quick and daily vacuuming, this is great and excellent value at this price – and I don't think it will get any cheaper.

Shark PowerDetect Cordless
Save 53% (AU$450)
Shark PowerDetect Cordless: was AU$849.99 now AU$399.99 at Shark Australia

It's the auto-emptying version of this cordless vacuum that I rank as the #1 best vacuum in Australia, but if you don't need that feature, this is arguably one of the best deals I can recommend on a powerful machine. You'll get up to 70 minutes of runtime, plus a bendy wand to get under furniture, and there's dynamic suction for the best clean possible.

Dyson V15s Detect Submarine Absolute
Save 49% (AU$755)
Dyson V15s Detect Submarine Absolute: was AU$1,549 now AU$794 at The Good Guys

Dyson’s original wet-dry cordless vacuum has dropped to a record-low price – and it's not even Black Friday yet! Well, you have to jump through a couple of hoops to get that discount, but hey, you can't tell me it's not worth it. It will work as a standalone vacuum or as a standalone mop, meaning it will suit most households with mixed flooring. It does both remarkably well, but watch out for the dirty-water dripping out of the Submarine cleaning head after you've finished your chores. Use the price-beat option at The Good Guys and this could be yours for just AU$783.

Dyson Gen5detect Complete
Save 41% (AU$650)
Dyson Gen5detect Complete: was AU$1,599 now AU$949 at Dyson Australia

It's the most powerful Dyson yet and this is the exclusive model that comes with every single attachment you can think of (6 in total) along with 2 cleaning heads – the Digital Motorbar and the Fluffy Optic. You'll also get the freestanding Dyson FreeDok to stow it all away. If there was a Dyson Black Friday deal worth your money, this one is it, and that's despite the Gen5detect Absolute going for AU$877 at The Good Guys – it's just better value as you get more.

Roborock F25 ACE
Save 45% (AU$450)
Roborock F25 ACE: was AU$999 now AU$549 at Roborock

This Roborock wet-dry vacuum will leave your hard floors sparkling clean thanks to powerful suction and effective cleaning. It can get up close to edges and the whole body can lay completely flat to help getting underneath tricky to reach places. This standout deal is equal to the lowest price we have seen.

Cameras

GoPro Hero13 Black
Save 17% (AU$107.96)
GoPro Hero13 Black: was AU$649.95 now AU$541.99 at Amazon

There's no denying why a GoPro is so popular, and the Hero 13 Black has been one of the best action cameras on the market for a long time now. If you've been holding off to get one to capture your summer (mis)adventures in glorious 4K, this discount makes it a lot more approachable, and saves you some cash to spend on mods.

Canon EOS R100 + RF-S 18-45mm kit
Save 20% (AU$201)
Canon EOS R100 + RF-S 18-45mm kit: was AU$999 now AU$798 at Amazon

Back to the October Prime Day discount on Amazon, this entry-level camera is already affordable even at full price. It might be a no-frills entry-level model that has a fixed rear display, but its 24.1MP APS-C sensor is excellent and it can shoot 4K/24p video (cropped) too.

Fujifilm X Half
Save 27% (AU$361)
Fujifilm X Half: was AU$1,349 now AU$988 at Amazon

Officially, this film camera-inspired digital version is called the X-HF1, but it made headlines as the X Half. If you're a film photography buff but don't have the cash to spend on rolls (and the subsequent processing of the negatives), this is one offer not to be missed.

Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV (silver) + ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ lens
Save 23% (AU$300)
Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV (silver) + ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ lens: was AU$1,299 now AU$999 at Amazon

This silver edition of this lovely MFT camera was AU$50 cheaper on Amazon in October, but this is still a good price on the black kit. Even with the lens attached, this is a very portable package, making it the perfect travel companion. You get a 20MP stabilised sensor and a flip-down monitor to help with framing your shots..

Fitness tech

Fitbit Charge 6
Save 37% (AU$97.09)
Fitbit Charge 6: was AU$259.95 now AU$162.86 at Amazon

The Fitbit Charge 6 is one of the simplest fitness trackers around, but it works very well. It has a small screen that shows the time, how many steps you’ve taken, and your current heart rate as well. It’s subtle, so it fits on your wrist well – whether you’re at work or working out. Extensive battery life of up to seven days means minimal hassle, too. While Aussie stock is discounted to AU$220 on Amazon, if you're willing to get a German import, it's a fantastic bargain.

Garmin Fenix 7S Pro (Sapphire Edition)
Save 41% (AU$631)
Garmin Fenix 7S Pro (Sapphire Edition): was AU$1,529 now AU$898 at Amazon

Huh, if there's already a 41% discount on this fantastic Garmin watch, what can we expect when Amazon actually kicks off its Black Friday sale? Well, there's no guarantee it will be cheaper, or even if it will get a discount then – all depends on the stock. But this is still an excellent price for the Sapphire Edition but note this is for the Small (42mm) solar-charging variant, while the larger 51mm model is down to AU$999.

Smart home

TP-Link Tapo P100 mini smart plug
Save 18% (AU$4)
TP-Link Tapo P100 mini smart plug: was AU$22 now AU$18 at Amazon

This little smart plug will turn any old lamp or small appliance into a smart one. Just plug in your kettle or a lamp and you can use the app or Google and Alexa voice commands to control said device. You can set timers, create schedules and more, depending on what you plug into this adaptor. It's already quite affordable at AU$22 a pop, but why not save a few dollars?

Philips Hue Gradient lightstrip
Save 40% (AU$103.98)
Philips Hue Gradient lightstrip: was AU$259.95 now AU$155.97 at Amazon

I'm a massive Philips Hue fan and have a few smart bulbs scattered around my home, but every time I purchase one, I usually baulk at the price tag. So when there's a discount like this, I wouldn't hesitate sharing it. There's a 2m length here to get you started, and it combines white and coloured light for some very pleasing effects. If you already have a Hue Bridge, this will work with your current setup, but you can use it independently as it's Bluetooth compatible too.

Kitchen appliances

Sunbeam Multi Zone Air Fryer Oven
Save 20% (AU$60)
Sunbeam Multi Zone Air Fryer Oven: was AU$299 now AU$239 at Amazon

This should get cheaper – it was AU$199 in October – but it's still not a bad bargain at this price. It's capable of cooking in separate zones, complete with separate trays to maximise the space or one huge 11.4L zone. Food is roasted to perfection, whether it's a full chicken or small portions of fries or vegetables. It does have multiple accessories to keep clean though.

Ninja DoubleStack (9.5L; white)
Save 57% (AU$340.99)
Ninja DoubleStack (9.5L; white): was AU$599.99 now AU$259 at Myer

Securing a spot on our list of the best air fryers, our reviewer said this innovative model from Ninja was the "air fryer of my dreams". It takes a familiar double drawer design, but stacks them on top of each other, resulting in a smaller footprint. Performance is exemplary, but just make sure the food you put in isn't that big, as the drawers themselves are on the smaller side at 4.75L each.

Personal grooming

Oclean X Ultra S
Save 56% (AU$250.95)
Oclean X Ultra S: was AU$449.95 now AU$199 at Shaver Shop

I've been using this sonic toothbrush for over a year now and I've often been scolded by it for not brushing quite right. Yes, scolded. This is a talking toothbrush that I didn't know I needed. While I prefer oscillating brushes, this one is unique. It uses bone-conduction tech to provide vocal feedback in real time so you brush exactly you ought to. It's cutting-edge stuff in oral hygiene and you'll get three replacement cleaning heads in the box too.

Dyson Airwrap i.d.
Save 18% (AU$152)
Dyson Airwrap i.d.: was AU$849 now AU$697 at JB Hi-Fi

I don't recall such a good discount on the new edition of the Airwrap multi-styler, but note that only a few of the colourways get this AU$150 saving. According to TechRadar's Home Editor, this is the best hair styler tool, hands down, with the curl.i.d switch being the game changer here. It's still an investment and I don't think this price will drop any further through the sale period.

ErgoTune Joobie
Save 13% (AU$100)
ErgoTune Joobie: was AU$799 now AU$699 at ErgoTune

I love this chair – I use it in the TechRadar Sydney office while I have the ErgoTune Vesby at home. It can feel quite narrow if you're bigger built, but otherwise I think it's the best office chair in Australia, complete with ergonomics and comfort.

Desky Pro+ ergonomic chair
Save 14% (AU$100)
Desky Pro+ ergonomic chair: was AU$699 now AU$599 at Desky

It would have been nice to get a slightly better discount than this but, at this price, it's not bad for a chair with some decent ergonomic setup. It's fantastic for all-day comfort and support, but some of the material used does look cheap. Still, we have one in the TechRadar Sydney office and it is well liked.

Desky Swivel 3D Tilt chair
Save 10% (AU$37.90)
Desky Swivel 3D Tilt chair: was AU$379 now AU$341.10 at Desky

It's not a huge discount but this is quite an affordable chair already and, what sets it apart from others on the market is that it tilts marginally in all angles. This allows the seat to move with you, encouraging micro movements that can add up over the day and promote better health and burn a few extra calories. It's ideal for thinner people but you won't get much in terms of back support.

Steelcase Series 2
Exclusive offer
Save 28% (AU$316.12)
Steelcase Series 2: was AU$1,129 now AU$812.88 at Steelcase US

One of the best office chairs that we've ever tested, the Series 2 is perfect for those who want a chair they don't have to worry about – offering supreme comfort while you stay focused on the task at hand. Earning 4.5 stars in our Steelcase Series 2 review, we loved how customisable its support was, as well as the breathability of its mesh. Plus, we thought it was pretty affordable at its original price. Use the exclusive checkout code FUTURE2025 to secure the full discount.

Steelcase Karman
Exclusive offer
Save 28% (AU$587.72)
Steelcase Karman: was AU$2,099 now AU$1,511.28 at Steelcase US

Currently our pick for the best mesh chair in Australia, the Karman is unique in that its frame is pretty much a single piece. It also doesn't have too many manual adjustment points because it's designed to adjust in real time with your body movements. The mesh is also very high quality, making it very breathable indeed. The only real drawback we could find in our Steelcase Karman review was its price. Down by nearly AU$600, this "one of a kind" chair is significantly easier to recommend with our exclusive FUTURE2025 discount.

Stack this Ninja in your kitchen

Ninja DoubleStack air fryer on pink background

This air fryer is truly a ninja in the kitchen! The Ninja DoubleStack made headlines for being the first ever air fryer to, well, stack its drawers on top of the other, so it doesn't take up as much space as other dual-basket air fryers.

And this new design does absolutely nothing to diminish its performance. In our Ninja DoubleStack review, our tester got the same excellent results as she would get from a traditional-looking two-basket air fryer. While the DoubleStack's two drawers can be used independently, you can Sync and Match cooking times too. This particular model has a total capacity of 9.5L, so you can easily feed 3-4 people.

There are three variants of the DoubleStack and highlighted here is the best and most expensive model, which I didn't know could be had in a white colourway.

It's cheapest at Myer right now, with a whopping 57% discount.

And the best part is it's down to AU$299 at several retailers, including directly from Ninja Kitchen too.

An easy Pill to swallow

I was very excited this time last year because I wanted me the new Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker. Sadly, it didn't get a price cut then. It has now and is currently going for AU$179 in all colours at JB Hi-Fi.

The updated model has better sound, better battery and better dust- and waterproofing too. The only thing that could stop some users from swallowing this tasty Pill is the lack of an equaliser, so you're stuck with the sound it makes. Which, let me tell you, is good. So it may not be a deal breaker at all.

This Dyson at AU$299 is the deal of the day

Dyson V8 Plus

If you're after the most affordable Dyson right now, that would be the V8 Plus model available from eBay. It's already listed at a discounted price, but an additional AU$50 will be shaved off at checkout with the code SAVENOV.

It might be getting long in the tooth, but the V8 can still hold its own and, at this price, it's a bargain! However, it may not suit everyone. If you're on a very tight budget and want an affordable Dyson, this is it. Also its smaller bin capacity and shorter runtime than current models means it's best suited to smaller homes.

5-star Sony headphones at record-low price

Sony WH-1000XM4 on purple background

If you have “noise-cancelling headphones” on your Black Friday wish list, it’s currently possible to pick up the excellent Sony WH-1000XM4 for their lowest Aussie price ever – and it’s even direct from the Sony Store itself.

Despite their relative vintage, we continue to place the XM4s amongst the best headphones you can buy – regardless of the newer models arriving in the five years since they were first released, including two replacement models from Sony itself.

That fact alone should be enough to persuade you to invest in a pair, but just in case it isn’t, how about them dropping to an astonishingly low price of AU$260.95 at the Sony Store, courtesy of a couple of stackable discount codes?

To get the low deal price here, there are a couple of things you need to do. The first is to sign up for a My Sony account, which will reward you with a welcome coupon for 10% off your order (note that this is capped at AU$150 for TVs and AU$50 for all other eligible products). You also need to enter the code HOLIDAYSAVE at checkout, which entitles you to an additional AU$40 saving.

Talking toothbrush, anyone?

A person holding a black Oclean X Ultra S sonic electric toothbrush

When Oclean made its Aussie debut in October last year, the Chinese toothbrush brand came armed with its smartest product – the Oclean X Ultra S.

This sonic electric toothbrush talks. Yes, talks. It's what I've used for a year (but I prefer oscillating brushes, so reverted to Oral-B a few weeks ago) and have often been scolded. Even its 30-second time alert to "change areas" sounds like a child scolding me sometimes.

These voice alerts are essentially recordings of feedback that you hear when you're doing something wrong while brushing. The toothbrush employs bone-conduction technology to deliver those oral feedback messages, which is why it sounds strange, but just knowing you're doing something wrong will improve your brushing habits quickly.

The motor delivers up to 84,000rpm of sonic movements and yet is gentle and effectively removes plaque. It tracks 8 zones inside your mouth and scores you on how well you've done after each brushing session.

In my Oclean X Ultra S review, I was really impressed by its performance, but was surprised at how expensively it's priced in Australia – even taking taxes and duties into consideration, it's very pricey. However, it's dropped to an all-time low record price of just AU$199! And it's exclusive to the Shaver Shop.

If you're curious, you only have to try it. You'll get three brush heads in the box to get you started.

Why TechRadar is the best – and why you can rely on us

A collection of affordable tech products with two AU$50 notes

First of all, we're known for our modesty. Well, maybe not all the time... In all seriousness, though, we're extremely proud of the coverage we provide over every single major sale in Australia, be that EOFY, Prime Day or Black Friday.

The vast majority of the products we recommend would have either been tested by us or we've had some hands-on time with them. There are many other editorial sites that simply don't do it to the extent that we do here, so we're confident in our recommendations.

Secondly, TechRadar is staffed by veterans who have been covering major sales in Australia for over a decade. Yes, we are quite old (well, at least some of us) and we don't have time for poor deals from any retailer.

We're only just getting started with our Black Friday 2025 deals coverage, so put your faith in your knowledge and expertise in all things consumer tech to help you find the best offers over the next few weeks.

Laptops for less

Need a new laptop? As with any big investment into big-ticket tech items, now is a good time to figure out which laptop you'd like and keep an eye on prices.

Well, actually you don't have to do that last thing – keep an eye on prices. My colleague Lindsay Handmer is doing that for you and collating all the best Black Friday laptop deals in Australia in one handy place. Whether you need a Windows machine or keen on a new and powerful MacBook Pro, head to our dedicated coverage of the best early deals available right now.

These offers are likely to change weekly, but Lindsay is doing the hard work for you and keeping that dedicated page updated regularly.

It's the morning of November 14 (in case you weren't quite keeping track) and with Click Frenzy now over, some of the good deals we say in the last couple of days have disappeared. Fear not, though, as you just have to hang tight for a few days more before prices start to drop dramatically across the board. And that's because I'm expecting nearly every retailer to start their 'official' Black Friday sale by November 17 or November 18.

As you can see, however, there are still some good bargains to be had in these early days. If a price looks right to you, I would recommend you scoop it up. Once it's delivered to your door, don't open the packaging – if the price drops next week, you might be able to return the item and buy it elsewhere for a better price. Smart thinking, eh?

Stand up for this deal – quality standing desk for less

A Desky Dual standing desk with bamboo finish and black frame on a cyan background with a TechRadar Don&#039;t Miss deal label

I began today by sharing an exclusive offer on good office chairs from Steelcase. Now take a look at a standing desk.

A standing desk doesn't come cheap, at least not a quality one, and Australian company Desky has quality tables. I should know, I use one of these at home myself and have had it for over a year now. So far, I've had no complaints at all.

It's standout feature is the under-desk cable management system. While this is an additional purchase for AU$49, it's absolutely worth it. Your power board can sit within or, if you're willing to spend a little more money, you can get clip-in boards from the company itself. These keep all your cables hidden away and, best part, you can even fit the tray on after you've assembled the desk. It's really easy to do so.

The hardwood options, while expensive, are excellent. The dual motors I have on my desk are quiet and, interestingly, if the companion app on my iPhone is connected to the desk, I can just ask Siri to raise or lower the Desky for me. The caveat here is that the app needs to stay connected which, sadly, doesn't happen if you have exited it. That said, the controller is easy to use and set up, plus its colour lighting is a nice touch. All in all, a fantastic investment for a workspace.

Backup and shield your data

Samsung T7 Shield on green background

I've been a massive fan of Samsung's portable SSDs. I had the 1TB T5 for a few years before upgrading to the T7 Shield to back up all my photos (I'm a photographer who occasionally shoots in RAW with a 48MP camera).

I opted for the 2TB variant because it represented better value for money when I bought it and the out covering protected the actual SSD from accidental drops (which I have a penchant of doing). It also makes the device water resistant, and thus more durable.

It's still going strong two years on, so I haven't yet been tempted to upgrade further to the T9, and I would absolutely recommend the T7 Shield if you need some a safe place to back up your files.

I guarantee that it's very speedy too. You get read and write speeds of up to 1,050MB/s and 1,000 MB/s respectively, made possible by the USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port.

Portable SSDs can be hefty investments, but I can easily recommend the 1TB variant in the blue colourway that's currently got a 20% discount.

The best headphone deal this side of Black Friday?

CMF Headphone Pro in light screen with &quot;Big Savings&quot; text in white

Black Friday is always a fantastic time to secure yourself a new set of headphones – we'll be surprised if we don't see steep discounts on top models from the likes of Bose, Sony and Sennheiser, for example.

Even with discounts though, flagship pairs from those brands will still command a premium. Enter the CMF Headphone Pro. This cost-friendly set of over-ears comes from Nothing's sub-brand, and based on our CMF Headphone Pro review, they have a specs and feature list that commands your attention.

As our tester noted, they sound "detailed, nuanced and energetic" and offer "clarity, two types of spatial audio, LDAC and hi-res wired connectivity." They're customisable too – you can interchange the ear cushions and adjust the EQ settings. Oh, and another thing, they support an incredibly detailed hearing test within the companion app to create an effective personal sound profile.

We could go on speaking highly of them to be honest, and that's even at their regular AU$179 list price. Amazon, however, has already heavily discounted them ahead of Black Friday, knocking them down to as low as AU$105.54 for the dark grey pair.

AU$105 for a talented set of headphones? You won't find a better deal this side of Black Friday, but note that these offers are via Amazon UK.

• CMF Headphone Pro (dark grey): AU$179 AU$105.84 at Amazon

A five-star speaker at its lowest price yet

JBL Charge 6

We awarded the JBL Charge 6 review five stars, and is one of the best Bluetooth speakers in Australia right now. And given we haven't seen too many discounts since this portable and rugged sound machine was released, I think it's well worth highlighting this deal.

To get the deal price, you need to generate a unique TechRadar JBL coupon code and apply it at checkout on the JBL online storefront.

With booming sound and an easy-to-carry design, you really can't go wrong with this one.

A cordless vacuum for just AU$219!

Shark&amp;nbsp;IZ102 lifestyle image with dog and person

For an affordable, no-frills approach to a completely clean home, look no further than the Shark IZ102 stick vacuum cleaner. It consistently proves popular with our readers, to the point where Amazon has occasionally run out of stock. It's consistently available around the AU$230 to AU$250 mark, so it's easy to see why.

And now it's at a record-low price of just AU$219! And it's not even Black Friday yet!

You'll get decent suction, an LED light on the brush head to show up any hidden debris and a self-cleaning brush roll to ensure it doesn't throw dirt back onto your floors the next time you clean.

It also offers a few cleaning modes depending on the type of floor you're vacuuming, which are activated at the touch of a button. And if that wasn't enough, it can also convert into a smaller handheld vacuum for cleaning the car or upholstery, while a telescopic bar and crevice tool allow you to get up to your ceilings.

It's essentially everything you could need from a vacuum cleaner and all at a truly affordable price. It may not be the most powerful tool in the shed, but it's handy for small spaces and those quick clean-ups.

Black Friday shopping tips

  • Firstly, start by making a list of what you want to buy, then keen an eye on the price history. You can use tools like CamelCamelCamel if you're a regular Amazon shopper, or even check price comparison sites like Getprice.
  • Figure out what kind of specs you're after, but be flexible – the top line might be beyond your budget even after discount, but a slightly lower-specced model might suit you just fine and save you a lot of cash too.
  • So, you've found the deal you were looking for a retailer, but always widen your net and check other stores – someone will price beat (if not price match) and you could even score yourself additional incentives like a bundle package or a free gift. Definitely shop around.
  • While it's fair to say the best deals will be during the actual 4-day Black Friday to Cyber Monday period – which is November 28 to December 1 this year – retailers are starting their sales early and prices may or may not change over the next few weeks. If you hold off, stocks might be out and you could miss out. These early deals are well worth considering – if a price looks right to you, don't hesitate to commit.
  • And in case the price does drop further after you've made your purchase, I'd strongly recommend leaving the item in its box till the sale is fully over. That way you can always return it and buy it elsewhere for a better price.
