This year's Memorial Day laptop sales are just around the corner now so it's well worth being prepared if you're looking for a new machine. Dell, Best Buy, Amazon, and many other leading retailers have a great track record for laptop deals with this late-May event so it's worth waiting if you need a new laptop.

Regardless of whether you're looking for a new Chromebook, MacBook, or even a gaming laptop, we'll be using this page to round up all the best Memorial Day laptop sales in one place. Right now, it's too early for Memorial Day laptop sales proper but we're already starting to see a few promising deals cropping up at leading retailers. I've attached them just below - and I'll have plenty more soon.

Memorial Day this year lands on Monday, May 26 so there's not long to wait until the big retailers launch their laptop sales for 2025. In the meantime, you can see a roundup of what to expect just below, alongside a round-up of our coverage of last year's sales.

While it would have been great to see 32GB of RAM, that's an easy (and relatively cheap) upgrade.

Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy offer decent price cuts on all types of machines but the latter two are usually great for bagging a cheaper Chromebook or basic Windows laptop. Amazon offers good budget options but it's also typically a good place to pick up an Apple MacBook. HP and Dell are more specialist retailers focused on offering discounts on their own-brand machines but you'll find fantastic mid-range workhorse machines at these sites, as well as some of the best deals on ultrabooks and gaming laptops to boot.

What laptop deals can I expect on Memorial Day 2025?

You can see a selection of last year's best deals just down below If you're interested what to expect for this year's Memorial Day laptop sales. We've preserved a few of the best price cuts - which included discounts on everything from super low-end Chromebooks to high-end gaming laptops.

Note, expect this year's deals to include more up-to-date machines like the more recent 2025 Apple MacBooks and Dell XPS machines. We could also, potentially, see the first discounts on gaming laptops with RTX 5000 series graphics cards from Nvidia, although the chances aren't incredibly high since these have just come out. Alternatively, there should be plenty of clearance options on slightly older RTX 4000 series gaming laptops, which are still great performers.
