Navimow promises an easy drop-and-mow experience, no matter the yard size
Segway’s breakout robotic lawnmower division has expanded its roster.
Robot lawnmowers are great in theory but in practice some suffer from a couple of key pain points: they’re hard to set up and can potentially damage your lawn.
Navimow, a subsidiary of Segway, wants to change that, and has launched four new models at CES 2026 designed to offer a quick setup process, better object detection and terrain handling, and less damage to your lawn.
It’s as easy as ‘drop and mow’
Navimow is far from the only robotic lawnmower company out there. It’s not even the only robot lawnmower at CES. The difference between Navimow and some of its competitors is the easy ‘drop and mow’ setup and the company’s Xero-Turn All-Wheel Drive. The Xero-Turn AWD allows the mower to turn and maneuver without dragging, so you don’t get that tearing or visible wear when utilizing a robotic mower.
“Two of the biggest frustrations with robotic lawn mowers have always been complicated setup and unintended turf damage. Historically, consumers were asked to install perimeter wires, set up base stations, and constantly recalibrate their mower – only to still see ruts, torn grass, or inconsistent results,” explains CEO George Ren. “Our products in 2026 are designed to remove both of those pain points.”
Navimow's 2026 lineup also includes adjustable-angle Xero-Turn wheels, which give its lawn robots true active steering. So you’ll get tighter, cleaner cutting lines with less lawn damage.
“As robotic mowers become more powerful, the risk of damaging the lawn actually increases,” Ren elaborates. “This is especially true on slopes, while performing tight turns, and on soft soil. We saw many systems that could cover large areas, but do not do a great job of protecting grass. This year, we are obsessed with turf care. It is central to our design philosophy.”
Navimow i2 series
The i2 is Navimow’s entry-level robot lawnmower for home-owners with 0.25 to 0.5 acres of land on their property, slopes of up to 24°, and uneven terrain. Though it's designed for small- to mid-sized lawns, it still features Navimow’s turf-safe Xero-Turn AWD and Network RTK for the quick, drop-and-mow experience.
The i2 series does include LiDAR models, which use remote-sensing technology for increased precision lawncare. Combining Vision and EFLS LiDAR, the i2 LiDAR models offer better edge-sensing technology for more accurate boundary cutting and obstacle avoidance.
Navimow H2 series
The Navimow H2 series is a more mid-range option, with a range of up to 0.6 acres depending on the model. It’s also optimized for slightly more difficult terrain than the i2 series, with superior slope mowing on up to 24° inclines and declines thanks to its electronic stability control.
The H2 is equipped with a triple-fusion object detection and mapping system that combines LiDAR, Network RTK, and Vision for more zero-edge precision mowing. The H2 can detect objects as small as 0.4in and recognizes over 200 object types for smarter object avoidance.
Navimow X4 series
The X4 is Navimow’s consumer flagship device. This top-of-the-line mower is designed for larger lawns of up to 1.8 acres with more difficult terrain and slopes up to 40°. The X4 features more advanced 4-wheel-drive thanks to its dual-motor design.
Along with the X4’s second drive motor, its dual suspension allows it to cross obstacles of up to 2.8 inches in height. The X4 also takes advantage of EFLS LiDAR, Network RTK, and 360° Vision to tackle tighter layouts or more obstacle-dense lawns.
Navimow Terranox
Terranox is Navimow’s enterprise solution, intended for use by landscaping companies or country clubs, with all the remote fleet control features you need to employ a stable of Terranox robotic lawnmowers at once.
The Terranox mower can handle areas of up to 6 acres, with variable cutting heights from 0.75 to 4 inches, and can take advantage of EFLS LiDAR, Network RTK, and 360° Vision for precision control and advanced obstacle detection.
Want to take one home? Here’s what you need to know
Navimow’s robotic lawnmowers were just announced at CES this week, and will be available for pre-order starting January 16, 2026. Pricing for the i2 series starts at just $999, while the X4 series pricing starts at $2,499. So Navimow’s got a mower for just about every budget.
The X4 and i2 series mowers will be available through Navimow directly, while the H2 series will be stocked at retailers such as Amazon and Walmart.
