They are hugely capable performers that justify their hefty price with a combination of build and sound quality that cheaper alternatives simply can’t match. Aspirational and desirable, now below SG$500.

Secretlab makes some of our favourite gaming chairs you can buy (and which double up as supportive office chairs, too) and this Omega 2020 is our pick of the brand's 11.11 sale. It offers sturdy construction, impressive comfort and plenty of adjustments, from the angle of the backrest to the position of the armrests, and almost every conceivable adjustment in between.

We fell in love with this chair's armrests in our Steelcase Gesture review, offering some of the best adjustability options that we've ever seen, greatly increasing levels of comfort. Its sturdy build and several points of adjustment make it a great all-round option. However, while it has premium looks, its cushioned back doesn't offer as much breathability as mesh, and its lumbar support could arguably be stronger. If those aspects aren't important to you though, it's a comfy chair with executive looks.

We rate the Steelcase Karman as being the best mesh chair for your home office, thanks to its unique frame that sees it being constructed from a single piece. It also doesn't have too many manual adjustment points because it's designed to adjust in real time with your body movements. The mesh is also very high quality, making it very breathable indeed. The only real drawback we could find in our Steelcase Karman review was its price.
Singapore 11.11 Singles’ Day: FAQ
What is Singles’ Day?
With origins dating back to China’s Nanjing University in 1993, Singles’ Day was once known as Bachelors’ Day, and initially spread between universities. Across 30 years, the day has grown and evolved into one of the largest sales events throughout SE Asia, including in both Singapore and Malaysia. Some other regions such as Australia and New Zealand have also started to offer up Singles’ Day sales, though the deals in these regions still get eclipsed by the oncoming Black Friday offerings later in the month.
Alibaba was the main driving force behind the initial Singles’ Day sales, but now you can find a wide variety of retailers with 11.11 offerings. Other marketplaces such as Amazon, Lazada and Shopee all jump in with deals across a number of departments including tech, home, toys and more, and if you’re looking for something brand-specific, you can typically find sellers like Lenovo, HP, Dyson, Apple and Samsung also jumping in with bargains.
Why is Singles’ Day on 11.11?
1 is the loneliest number, so 11.11 is the best representation of someone flying solo. Singles’ Day initially started out as the perfect time for single folk to mingle with others at parties in China, so 11.11 pays homage to the origins of this period.
Additionally, 11.11 kicked off a series of sales known as the matching dates sales here in Singapore. We’ve already seen a stack of deals offered in the 9.9 sales and 10.10 sales, and the year will close out with the 12.12 sales in December.
How long do the Singles’ Day sales go for?
While the official sales date only runs for one day, November 11, 11.11 sales typically go on for much longer. We can expect to start seeing hints of the sale in early November, with deals continuing on through right up until Black Friday starts to kick off.
Is 11.11 the biggest sale in Singapore?
11.11 Singles’ Day is one of the biggest sales in Singapore, and it combined with Black Friday definitely makes November the biggest month for deals. However, if you’re looking for the best time to shop earlier in the year, you’ll want to keep an eye on the Chinese New Year sales and Amazon Prime Day if you don’t want to wait for November to roll around.
