The best fitness tracker deal for Presidents' Day is actually on a 6-year-old Fitbit – here's why

Fitbit Inspire 2

The best Fitbits are the brand's more advanced devices, and not much more expensive than the Fitbit Inspire 2 I'm about to recommend to you. They have features the Inspire 2 does not, and sometimes these features are worth the price of admission, such as the ECG functionality – if you have heart issues, this is key, as it can alert you if your heart rate is too high.

However, the reason I'm recommending the older, less advanced Fitbit Inspire 2 is that it's an unbeatable value prosposition. Why, you ask? Because it's the last Fitbit device still on sale that comes with a whole year of Fitbit Premium – all other modern Fitbits net you just six months.

Fitbit Premium is a first-class fitness app offering guided workouts, recipes and meditation classes, more advanced ways to categorize and view your data, extra information such as sleeping heart rate, and features like the Daily Readiness Score. It costs $9.99/month or $119.88 annually.

Fitbit Inspire 2
Fitbit Inspire 2: $83.99 at Amazon

The Fitbit Inspire 2 may not be on sale, but it's effectively a better deal than other Presidents' Day offers, if you're a new Fitbit user who wants to save money on a Fitbit Premium subscription. The tracker itself offers 10 days of battery life, smart notifications, guided workouts, heart rate, steps, calories and Active Zone Minutes stats.

We gave Fitbit Premium 4.5 stars in our Fitbit Premium review, saying "Fitbit offers tremendous value for money given the huge number of features included. Fitbit Premium is well laid out in the Fitbit app, with glanceable data available throughout the day."

If the Inspire 2 is out of stock, or you're an existing Premium user and unable to take advantage of the offer, you can check out these Presidents' Day Fitbit deals instead. I've included the Google Pixel Watch 4 here, because as Google owns Fitbit, it uses all the same health and fitness features:
