Rhea Seehorn won her first Golden Globe for Pluribus – but she should have won it for this Netflix show instead

Apple TV had a great night at the 2026 Golden Globes, as one of the best streaming services won in three categories. Among these was 'Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series', which went to Rhea Seehorn for Pluribus.

I'm delighted that Seehorn won her first Golden Globe for her role as Carol Sturka, as we can't deny how brilliant her performance was in Vince Gilligan's latest series. I can't wait to see even more of Seehorn in Pluribus season 2, too.

Justice for Kim Wexler

The official account for Better Call Saul has shared a brilliant compilation of Kim's best moments, which you can watch in the video above, and it really does prove why Rhea Seehorn deserved to win for this role.

Although the show centers around Bob Odenkirk's Jimmy McGill, aka Saul Goodman, there's no denying the fact that Kim does steal the show a lot of the time. Whenever I do my annual rewatch, I'm always captivated by her character and how beautifully complex she is.

I love how ambitious, flawed and resilient she is in a male-dominated field, where she works as a lawyer. All the scenes between her and Jimmy are amazing to watch, and one of my favorite things about Better Call Saul.

Sadly, Better Call Saul never won any Golden Globes despite being nominated, and it was snubbed in many ways. But Seehorn's role as Kim Wexler was never nominated at all, and that's never sat well with me so it's great to see her being recognized now.

If you've seen Pluribus but haven't yet checked out Better Call Saul, this is definitely your sign to give it a try. I promise you'll be blown away by another outstanding Rhea Seehorn performance.
